Our R2-D2 Holoprojector magnet is the followup to our Restraining Bolt Magnet and Mandalorian Grav Charge Magnet, as part of our “Parts of the Galaxy” line, inspired by the wonderful elements of the classic used-universe we all know and love. This Holoprojector magnet is a slightly scaled version of the projector seen on many R2 droid units and it’s painted specifically to match the style seen on R2-D2 in Star Wars: A New Hope™.
With terrific feel and authenticity, this highly detailed magnet is finished with layers of hand paint and distressing. Each is made in the U.S.A., hand-finished by the FX artists in our New York studio. They ship ready to display with a strong neodymium magnet that will make this a great addition to your collection, home, office, man-cave or fridge!

“Parts of the Galaxy” puts a name our series of realistically hand painted, prop-inspired magnets. Our new R2-D2 Holoprojector Magnet joins our Droid Restraining Bolt and The Mandalorian’s Grav Charge. (each sold separately)
Based specifically on R2-D2’s paint scheme seen in 1977’s Star Wars: A New Hope™, this holoprojector magnet brings a unique piece of a fan favorite character to your home in a fun new way.
Digitally modeled by Sean Fields for Regal Robot, this highly detailed magnet is finished with layers of hand paint and distressing capturing that “used universe” look that Star Wars is so famous for.
Like many of the film props, the on-screen holoprojectors were made from found objects such as equipment from airplanes. While scaled down slightly from what was used in the film, our new magnet was 3D modeled taking inspiration from the original found part to create a great inspired-by magnet that has terrific feel and authenticity. The solid-cast resin piece is a great compliment to the other magnets in our Star Wars art, sculpture & decor section!
