Custom Cantina Furniture and Decor

A client spotted the custom Star Wars™ Cantina Furniture concept art on our website and contacted us about bringing that concept to life for him. We worked with him to understand his interests, needs and space and created a variety of new concepts to choose from, eventually coming up with a set that included a sofa, chairs, a side table, a coffee table, a console table and several pieces of unique wall decor.
Using behind the scenes photos from the film as reference, we interpreted the Cantina benches and tables in a truly functional way, with added padding for comfort and scaled to work wonderfully together. Each piece was hand crafted specifically for this custom project and carefully distressed in the same style we would a film prop. The final pieces are thoroughly authentic in look and feel. They seem to have leapt off the screen and into his home!
For the wall decor, we drew inspiration from some really obscure details and loved every minute of it! From the often overlooked insignia outside Docking Bay 94 to the barely seen lighted sign over the cantina entrance, to Snaggletooth’s belt buckle, we love the details of Star Wars! We love taking the opportunity to incorporate those into our art, and into people’s homes in new and interesting ways!
The console table takes its cues from the bar itself with weathered white laminate and gray custom bullnose, and the decorative pipes support a pair of IG-88 head inspired props, molded from the same vintage airplane engine part that was used in the film before chroming, tinting and movie-style distressing.
