This very limited Droopy McCool Legacy Sketch by Jeanne Lauren is a special opportunity for fans to bring home a truly unique work-of-art from one of the key fabricators in the Star Wars: Return of the Jedi™ creature shop! Droopy was the wind-instrument playing Kitonak from the Max Rebo™ Band showcased in the palace of Jabba the Hutt™.
Several of our Archive Collection collectibles were created before we introduced the Legacy sketch editions. Now, we’re excited to offer standalone sketches of characters who previously did not get the Legacy treatment.
Each color illustration is a one-of-a-kind, dreamed-up and hand-drawn by creature technician, Jeanne Lauren. It comes matted within an 5”x7” frame, above an elegant metal nameplate, hand-signed by Lauren, to complete the display.

“Jeanne Lauren is a creature technician who was part of the creature shop at ILM for Star Wars: Return of the Jedi, where she worked extensively on the life-sized costumes and puppets for the aliens in the court and sail barge of Jabba the Hutt. Droopy McCool was one of many that she helped craft costumes for, adding textured latex over fabricated and carved foam to create a life-like skin and help breath life into the massively popular character who would become part of the Max Rebo Band.
It’s been very exciting here to work with these original artists and develop this line that pays tribute to that artistry involved in creating some of our favorite characters and the artists who inspire us every day!”
