This 7′ 6″ tall Chewbacca™ statue as seen in Star Wars: A New Hope™ and Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back™ is a towering presence, made to accurately recreate the character’s height. Our team of FX artists developed the life-sized figure with access to an original production-made face and teeth castings, along with hands-on examination of the original costume, mask and hair used in the original trilogy films.
Pose-able at the neck, allowing for tilting left to right, leaning front to back and turning for the ultimate in that classic “Chewie” character! A roaring expression adorns Chewbacca’s head in the photos, though a more closed-mouth option is available upon request. The head is hand painted prior to hand-glued FX style hair, applied a little at a time, just like Stuart Freeborn did on the original movie masks.
This highly detailed life sized Wookiee™ figure is made from fiberglass and resin, and also features a custom acrylic prosthetic eyes and translucent resin teeth with a silicone tongue. The arms rotate at the shoulders and have bendable hands in leather gloves like those used in the film. A metal and leather bandolier and distressed pouch complete the look of this 1:1 statue!
