Today’s sneak peek is based on one of the most requested maquettes for our Star Wars™ Archive Collection!
Sculpted by the legendary Phil Tippett, this bust-style maquette eventually became Admiral Ackbar and the Mon Calamari crew.

These new editions are part of our work creating authentic replicas with impeccable lineage. We work directly with the original artifacts in the famed prop archives to give fans something truly special! With high resolution 3D scanning and hand paint, our team crafted a faithful recreation of this concept for Star Wars: Return of the Jedi™, right down to the custom glass eyes!.

The Signature Edition of 100 pieces includes a plaque signed by Tippett.
The Legacy Edition of just 83 pieces which includes a unique color work-of-art, hand-drawn by Tippett.

At approximately 5.5″ tall (including the wood display base), each solid-resin maquette is meticulously hand painted in many layers, all done by the artists in our New York studio, making each a unique tribute to the artistry involved behind the scenes of our favorite films!
