New Star Wars™ and Indiana Jones™ Announcements from SDCC 2024!
At San Diego Comic Con on Friday, Regal Robot Creative Director Robb De Nicola was part of the Lucasfilm High End Collectibles Update Panel and he announced a number of new Star Wars and Indiana Jones creations! There’s video at the bottom of the post for those that want to watch the panel!
Among the extremely unique new creations are new decor items, expansions of our Archive Collection line like Belloq’s Ceremonial Staff from Raiders of the Lost Ark™, Gamorrean Guard and Ephant Mon Maquette Replicas, prop replicas of the Gamorrean Axe and Space Slug, and even a giant “Screen-size” Wampa bust! The newest replica in our Indiana Jones line was crafted with hands-on access to the original artifact.We announced this great Gamorrean Bust Concept Maquette and we’ll be doing a Legacy (Sketch) edition with original ILM sculptor, Dave Carson! Coming 9/3!We have BIG THINGS in the works for our line of replica concept maquettes!Our popular mini-skull line is getting a new addition – the Tauntaun!We’re also making a larger version of the Tauntaun skull to pair with our Mythosaur skull wall decor!Our next prop replica from Star Wars: Return of the Jedi is going to be this massive Gamorrean Axe!Our scaled Space Slug prop replica is about 60% of the scale of the original prop comes with a beautiful themed base!In addition to the scaled replica, we’re also doing a huge, nearly 3 foot long 1:1 version of this prop with a more museum-style presentation!Speaking of huge, our new SCREEN SIZED WAMPA BUST is a wall hanging bust that will pair great with our 1:1 Tauntaun replica busts! Coming 8/27!These are loaded with hand-finished details and based on the Special Edition version of the Wampa. Coming 8/27Howie Weed, who worked on the original costume and played the Wampa in the Special Edition film, has signed plaques for this new edition! Reserve yours on 8/27!
